How reviews are verified

Every review is checked by a human before it goes live. We verify product ownership first, then look for obvious spam or manipulation. That is what the Verified badge means.

If a review describes a problem that looks like a misunderstanding or an easy fix, we may contact the reviewer to understand what happened and offer help before publishing. This is not a negotiation. If they do not respond, the review goes live anyway, and if they still want their original review published after we talk, it stays published. Negative reviews are not removed or filtered.

Reviews from Gumroad are added by admins with zero changes: the exact star rating, comment, and name (when given) carry over as is. We also check that a review landed on the right product; people have reviewed one product on a completely different product’s page before, and this catches those mistakes.

Download numbers are not tracked automatically. sh4rk products sold on Ko-fi and Gumroad before this shop existed, so the figures are added up by hand across Lemon Squeezy, Ko-fi and Gumroad and updated periodically.

A product’s count reflects its downloads over its whole life, not only since it moved here, and it is approximate rather than a live counter.
