Procedural VHS
Far more than cheap filters and overlays. Real analog tape simulation, generated from your own footage.
Features
Zero Overlays, Pure Logic
Procedural VHS replicates analog tape behavior using node-based logic. No looping GIF overlays or baked textures, just realistic, real-time distortion.
Field-Based Interlacing
Replicate authentic analog field behavior with adjustable frame offsets. Switch between 'Fast' for editing and 'Quality' for final rendering.
Flexible Resolution Support
Procedural VHS works at any resolution. Force an authentic 4:3 VHS pillarbox or maintain your modern aspect ratio while applying analog damage.
Rewind & Head Switching
Simulates the mechanical instability of aging playback heads, with dedicated rewind warp and adjustable head switching distortion.
Analog Degradation Modules
Bloom & Retro Flares
Bloom and flares react only to real light sources, set by a threshold you control.
Transparency & Alpha Support
Applies heavy analog distortion while keeping the alpha channel intact, made for real footage and motion graphics.
