Overview

Procedural CRT is a DaVinci Resolve plugin that emulates the classic CRT screen effect with deep customizability. It works with both the Free and Studio versions of Resolve; the Studio version supports native lens distortion, while on the Free version you can replicate that effect with a native 'Dent' node. It is optimized for 1920x1080 and works at other resolutions and aspect ratios, though slight pixel distortion may occur since the layout is tailored for 1080p. It pairs well with other glitch plugins such as SuperGlitch and SuperModulation. All customers receive free lifetime updates. Important: your timeline playback resolution must be set to 'Full'; Half or Quarter resolution causes the pixel mapping to fail and results in a black output. Developed by sh4rk.

Updates
Updates are free. To update, simply download the latest version again and reinstall it.
License
There is no license key and no online activation. The product is just files you install, so there is no machine limit and nothing that can deactivate.
Performance
The tools are designed first for visual quality and output rather than raw speed, but they are all heavily optimized for fast, near real time performance.

Support is handled on the Paradise Community Discord. Replies usually come within an hour or two, and at most within 8 hours.

Installation

Automatic install

  1. 1.Download the latest version package.
  2. 2.Extract the downloaded ZIP file.
  3. 3.In the 'Edit Page' folder, run 'Procedural CRT.drfx' and click 'Install' inside DaVinci Resolve.
  4. 4.Open the 'Fusion' folder and copy all its contents.
  5. 5.Navigate to your DaVinci Resolve Macros directory.
  6. 6.Create a folder named 'sh4rk', and inside it, create another named 'Procedural CRT'.
  7. 7.Paste the copied files into that folder.
  8. 8.To verify, open the Fusion page in DaVinci Resolve and press Shift + Space to search for 'CRT'.
