Overview

Text Message Bubbles is a free DaVinci Resolve template for creating animated iMessage style conversations in seconds, with accurate iMessage fonts and colors, customizable send and receive animations, full color management with gradient controls, and a quality slider. Animations automatically snap to the first frame of your composition, and their speed can be customized by modifying keyframes in the Spline tab. It is fully compatible with both the Free and Studio versions of DaVinci Resolve. Direct image support inside bubbles is not included, but you can enlarge a bubble with empty lines or spaces and manually merge an image over it with a tracker. Developed by sh4rk.

Updates
Updates are free. To update, simply download the latest version again and reinstall it.
License
There is no license key and no online activation. The product is just files you install, so there is no machine limit and nothing that can deactivate.
Performance
The tools are designed first for visual quality and output rather than raw speed, but they are all heavily optimized for fast, near real time performance.

Installation

Preparation

  1. 1.Download and extract the 'Text Message Bubbles' package.
  2. 2.Open DaVinci Resolve.
  3. 3.Create a new timeline and switch to the Fusion page.

Automatic install

  1. 1.Open your extracted folder and drag and drop the installer.lua file into the nodes area.
  2. 2.Click OK on the license and the installations.
  3. 3.To verify, open the Fusion page and press Shift + Space to search for 'Message'.

Manual install

  1. 1.From the extracted folder, open the Macros folder.
  2. 2.Copy all the files from inside that folder.
  3. 3.Open DaVinci Resolve's Macros folder.
  4. 4.Create a new folder named 'sh4rk'.
  5. 5.Inside the sh4rk folder, create a new folder named 'Text Message Bubbles'.
  6. 6.Inside that folder, paste the content you copied.
  7. 7.To verify, open the Fusion page and press Shift + Space to search for 'Message'.
